welcome to New Jersey. This is typical of just about every town in Bergen, Essex, Passaic, and Morris counties (except Newark, Paterson, etc where they would actually be useful)

All 24 of the cops make more than $100K?
Can you link the info on that?

It's not unusual to have police salaries hovering around 100K on average. When I worked for the newspaper we used to publish PD salaries and while not everyone was making six figures, it was damn close. I covered Monmouth County, but I'm sure most other upscale suburbs are comparable. The worst are the Shore towns, where they legitimately do have to hire tons of officers because the summer is nuts, yet there is nothing to do but write tickets all winter long. Usually locals get a break, though, to an extent.

Police in NJ are way over paid and useless. Basically they get paid 100K a year to write you a speeding ticket for going over 5 mph. And they are dumb as hell. No college--they are idiots.

I don't see the problem. You pay good tax dollars to live somewhere with no crime.

I don't like cops very much. Then again, I don't like authority very much.
