Well done. It's very un-patriotic for whoever took down that poster, I don't care what the poster says, this is America and free speech should be left alone, unless someone is hiding something. In return I would like to think I could just as easily counter that poster with posters of my own instead of tearing down constitutional public expression. I would get a latter to hang them up very high so only the biggest brown nose would even think of taking it down. If someone is gonna hang posters on highways and blocks, right now before labor day weekend is the time to do it, before it's to late.

It is also the poster removers right to free speech. They took down what they find insulting and off topic.
Posting bills is not the same as speaking out. As much as people defend their right to put something up on a public wall, it is someone elses right to take it down, and that argument has gone both ways.
If we could only stop the hate and disinformation, we wouldn't have to keep nitpicking and bringing the constitution up like it was some miracle cure-all. Sometimes some issues are not constitutional. Somtimes they are not "family" or religious. Sometimes they are just something that effects some people and they feel they need to attach something more important to it than themselves to defend it.
BTW, YT is blocked here at work. If this is that silly "Socialism" poster thing, that is just what it is. Silly. People should really read up on politics before they start looking for catch phrases to apply to everything. The same people that are screaming about UHC are suddenly quiet when you talk about removing Grandma and Grandpa from Medicaid. THEN "socialism" is OK.
Cherrypicking politics. Same on both sides. An angry vitriolic republican side that plays off people's fears (falsely generated by corporate sponsorship), and a non-cohesive special interest Democratic side that can't agree on anything.
When are we going to get a 3rd party?

Yup- until it's placed on a traffic signal pole or other piece of property not belongin to the person putting it up- then "free speech" becomes vandalism.

I am far from what you would call a liberal. Accordingly, I think the person or people who are doing this have too much time on their hands, and come off as being immature. Putting up posters or having bumper stickers is not nearly as effective a tool of dissent as is showing up at the town hall meetings which are being attended by your representative. Putting up these posters is akin to an attention-deprived kid squirting their parents with a water gun.

If the traffic signal pole doesn't belong to me, who does it belong to?

It really doesn't take much time to do. Print out the image from your computer, take it to a corner store to blow it up and buy something to hold it up, then put a few up, I can do that in one hour, time much better spent than mindlessly rambling on this message board.

I think we should pool some money to get this put up on a billboard on the NJTPK, or Pulasky Skyway.

It belongs to all of the taxpayers- so as long as you can get concensus from them that they'd all like to see posters strewn all over it, you're more than welcome to stick your poster there. Until that time, it's called "defacing public property"

i dont want all public property to become a place for people to stick up their various political messages.
i think ninja's opinion is formed very much from his partisan silliness. like it or not, government healthcare is socialism. just because they think the word "socialism" has a negative connotation doesnt mean they can delete it even when its totally appropriate.
