you are only responsible for yourself. no need to apologize for an entire gender.

Hey Calico, I see you are sick over Vick as well. What in the hell is Jeffrey Lurie thinking (don't want to hijack the thread!)?

Thanks Calico & Maverick for chiming in... it was a difficult time. Quite humbling to have been paying off the last of wedding costs AND the initial lawyer consultation in the same credit card statement.... but that was over 3 years ago. I am in a great new relationship. Once again in a happy relationship with an AWESOME new guy, much stronger, and all the more wise because of what I went through.
Sometimes it requires you to be burnt to appreciate the fire. So long as it has not scared you off, or made you too cynical about life, you will be much better for the experience! (although it probably would have been better if you were never forced to learn about it in the first place.. )

On that note, GL!

*Other woman* was mad, but I guess she got over it quickly. After I threw him out on his ass, she took him back. They had that baby, and from what I have hear another, and they live in Brooklyn now.
OK, I was going to feel sorry for the other woman (imagine that even though you were married, getting knocked up by a two timer that goes and marries someone else has to be pretty high on the list of heartbreakers), but she took him back?

I am sensing some real problems with that other woman.

Poor KID!!!

her problem was that she got knocked up by some piece of garbage. im sure the fact that she was pregnant put pressure on her to take the guy back. its hard raising a kid on your own. i dont know from experience but i assume it is hard.

Oh yeah... she took him back. Then on and off for the next year or so she would rear her ugly head... calling me and accusing me of all kinds things, claiming I was still in contact with him, etc. I said, "Look sweetie, you took back a cheater. If you suspect him infidelity, you are probably right. But I ASSURE you... it's not with me!" Still she would contact me every couple weeks, screaming at me to the point of harrassment and I had to get some kind of 'no contact order' against her. It wasn't a restraining order, but basically I filed harrassment charges and she is not allowed to call anymore. It's been over 2 years *knock on wood* since I've heard from her.
