My first choice would be LeChard (lechard.com). They put my dock and boat lift in. They used top quality materials and if you don't what your looking at you can be easily mislead. Afterall how many people know the difference between green wood? Thats why you need someone trustworthy.
I had another guy who I won't even mention put my bulkhead in. I needed someone in a pinch and this guy was available but I had watch over him the whole time. He didn't put enough tie backs in and I had to get someone else to come in and add what should have been put in to begin with. Trust me your not going to want to tear your yard up twice so get it done right the first time. I should also mention I put my bulkhead in three or four years ago when things were booming. Now it totally different now you can get a top quailty bulkheader without being on a two year waiting list like back then. But make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
Other marine contractors I recommend would be Metedconk marine in Brick or Grandy Brothers in Toms River. I have seen them work in my area and are also top quality craftsmen.
