I know this is old, but....I understand complaining about the gigantically outrageous salaries of police, but not teachers...teachers deserve everything they get!

My 4th grade teacher is about 70 years old now, been teaching at the school forever, and is making $120,000 a year.... She is a good teacher and all, but come on. $120,000 just to teach 4th grade?

To the OP: We have friends in Ramsey with a 9th grader and recent HS graduate. They are very happy with their children's education and feel there are a lot of activites geared towards children. It's a great family town when I'm with them and their neighbors

To the others: Out of the 31 current employees who will partake in Ramsey's Police and Firemens Retirement System (2008 data):

12 make greater than $100,000
9 make greater than $90,000

Out of the 109 current employees who will partake in Ramsey's Public Employees Retirement System:

18 make greater than $100,000
2 make greater than $90,000

Of Ramsey's 318 educators:

20 make greater than $100,000
57 make greater than $90,000
