Default Need info on moving to NJ

Looking at moving up to the NJ. Would be working in Jersey City. Thinking about the Englewood area. Looking for a 2 bedroom apt/condo. Have a couple of questions to get a sense of the cost of living. I know what I have seen online but have heard that they are not very accurate:

What are nice places to live around Jersey City? Englewood?
Average electric/gas bill?
Average cable/internet?
How much is usually taken out of the paycheck from taxes? (I'm assuming between 35% and 40%)
Any other expenses that I should take into consideration?

Thanks!

Around Newport & Exchange place are nice but the rent is high, expect to pay $1,000 - $1,500 for a 1 bedroom apt.

Average electric/gas bill? Some rent includes gas/electric but expect to pay around $70 - $100 a month for each.

Average cable/internet? Many of the cable & phone companies are running bundle deals starting at $99 for phone, internet & TV, premium channels are extra.

How much is usually taken out of the paycheck from taxes? (I'm assuming between 35% and 40%) Depends on your income bracket for Federal, 6.25% State tax.

Any other expenses that I should take into consideration? Commuting cost & if you have a car, parking garages in JC can run from $200 - $300 a month.
