Free Music Festival this weekend
The Union County Music Festival is this weekend. This has been going on annually a few years now but this year will be in a different park. Admission is free, looks like this year they are charging for parking if you want to park on site or you can take a free shuttle bus from free parking lots elsewhere.

There is also a carnival Thursday to Sunday with kiddie rides and food.
Fireworks on Saturday night after the last band.
No one was was there on Thursday night, it was very sad.

Truthfully I think the Union County Freeholders have a lot of nerve spending the taxpayers money during these down ecconomic times on such frivolous items.
If you live in Union County, just check your property taxes, and let me know how "FREE" this event is...

Yeah, if I rmember correctly last year the second day was a torrential rain storm.

The show will go on Saturday and Sunday rain or shine.
And from what I've been told, so will the fireworks. |
