There are 15 townhome complexes in Metuchen. I don't know of any that have a pool. The complexes in the 300 price range are Metuchen Oaks, Metuchen Gardens, Jefferson Park, Essex Mews, and if you are lucky you can possibly find something in Maplegate, Metuchen Square or Metuchen Corners. I'll send you a PM with all the ones currently available.

We recently moved into Central Square of Metuchen. There is no pool, but it is a nice, short walk to the train to Manhattan. It is a family-oriented community and everyone is friendly. The community has single family homes as well as townhomes. Townhome prices range from low 300's to high 300's right now. The community was built in 2001, so unlike many of the other townhome communities in Metuchen, this one has a fresh, modern feel to it. Also, from my research, it seems like you get a little more space and bang for your buck in Central Square than you do in Franklin Square across the street.
