Default Lebanon

Can anyone give me any feedback about Lebanon, NJ? My husband started a new job in Warren. Mapquest says that the communte would be about 20 minutes. I keep reading that the eastbound traffic on 78 is awful. Thanks for the help!

Lebanon is a wonderful little town! We lived there for about 7 years and loved it. It is close-knit town that is very family friendly and has a lot of nice events throughout the year. Events like the 4th of July parade which people all around the area look forward to every year. Santa comes around in a fire truck every year to kick off the Christmas season. They have an Easter egg hunt at the elementary school. I could go on and on.
It is a very safe, affordable and a great place to raise a family!

Warren is nice place to work but expensive to live, I know many people working at Citibank's new IT facility at Warren and living at Piscataway area. Commute wise would be much easier, senic route, no traffic.

As to Lebanon, or any place at the west of I-78, you got to compete with crowd living at East PA commuting to anywhere in NJ to NYC, not just to Warren. The town is great and quiet, but the commute is a nightmare, but it can be also a great excuse of being late ... or work from home?
