Default West Caldwell, NJ

Does anyone commute from West Caldwell, NJ to NYC? If so, I would appreciate hearing how long/convenient the commute is via train (I believe the closest train station is Little Falls) or bus is. Also, I've heard horror stories about parking at train stations and long waits to get permits - can anyone share any experiences?
Thanks!!

There's also the bus from the Willowbrook mall. I think its 30 minutes to get to the Port Authority in the city.
