I wish I was moving to Summit. Ohh the high end linen stores, ohh the great furniture shops, you got it made. I would just go shop. That is one town where the shopping is my speed, textiles and furniture. Your are gonna have the time of your life. I wish for one week I was you! Its just a great place, I was so impressed with Summit. I actually like summit better than Westfield. Your in a nice location with hills and views and action with a happy vibrant beat. You made the right choice. Your near so many great things. YOu can take a nice ride thru beautiful Bernardsville, Watchung, Peapack and feel close to the New ENglish style country and have a city with great things in it. YOU GOT IT ALL now, CHANCEUSE! You must meet me for a great cup of coffee and I will love to show you all the great things close by your area. Marilyn

i joined just to post on this thread! im from jersey and have lived in toronto the past few years and i have to say the people in jersey are a thousands time more polite than they are in toronto. people in toronto really have no common courtesy, they never hold open doors and im literally the only person in my classes who say 'bless you' when someone sneezes. while jersey has the rep of being rude and aggressive, toronto is full of quiet non-confrontational push overs who dont stand up for themselves, have no sense of humor and show little emotion. besides all that, the best part about jersey compared to toronto is the prices!! everything in toronto is so much more expensive by such huge amounts, you are going to save so much money on things like groceries, clothing and especially alcohol (no taxes compared to toronto's 13%?). i hope you enjoy jersey!!

Yeah, the "Jersey Attitude" is really non-existant. I have always found people of NJ to be as nice, or nicer, than people from any other part of the country. And NJ people are much less crass than NY people, IMO.
