Default Good Elementary schools and high schools in North Bergen?

Are any of the North Bergen Elementary schools and high schools good. Additionally, in NJ does a child have to go to a zoned public school or can they go to other public schools outside of their county? Anyone know how school choice works?

You mean Northern Bergen County, or North Bergen the town?

In Northern Bergen County, all of the towns have well-regarded school systems. (north of Paramus, not saying there aren't good ones south too, just talking North for now).

Yes, in NJ, a student has to go to the schools that they are zoned for, barring a very few charters/magnet schools. There is basically no school choice, and in Northern Bergen County that is especially true. However, the schools are all quite good.
