happens pretty quick once its passed. In NJ it was lightening fast. I was suprised how fast after the federal was first pasted.

I recently spoke to doirgirl and asked her to come back and join in with the conversation. She seemed hesitant beings that her first 2 threads were closed down she mentioned that she was going to take a break for a while. but I will try and keep on Diorgirl as should all of you who value her opinion like I do.

I don't recall where I read this and I am not sure how accurate it is but my understanding is that NJ is just waiting for approval to put things in motion if Bill H.R.3548 is passed.
I am sure DiorGirl is aware of this thread and if she has any relevant information to help further along the thread regarding Unemployment Benefits: extensions after EB, part 3 I am sure she will not hesitate to comment.
It is a shame her thread Unemployment Benefits: extensions after EB, part 2 was closed due to people failing to stay on subject.

good call. I bet NJ has their stuff ready to go and is just waiting for the OK to send out thier letters and start adjusting peoples balances, etc. This thing should fly with no problem.
Hopefully, congress or actuall the state of NJ, doesn't put any qualifying dates like " oh your origional unemployment claim had to be filed on xx date or later to qualify" or " your origional claim date had to be before xx date to qualify"
if I recall, in one of the past extensions, some people didnt get it soley because they missed some date by a few weeks but met every other qualifying factor. That is cruel but needed I guess to regulate things.
Any input on this?

If you have exhausted your EB prior to the passage of this bill, then you will not qualify for any future extended benefits...

That is not true. It includes people whose benefits recently expired too. Don't make things up and pretend it's a fact. Your only aggravating (or trying to) people.
