Smile After school program in Ramsey - kindergarten

We are thinking of moving to Ramsey next year. Can anyone tell me if there is an after school program for kindergarteners in the Ramsey public school system? I know there is a 1/2 day kindergarten there, but I would need care for my child until about 5 pm since I work. Also, any feedback/advice about the school system in general would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Call the school district. Most towns do have an extension program for 1/2 day K and then before and after school care (you have to enroll separately for what programs you need). Most of the towns around Ramsey use the Wyckoff Y for the K children (they will bus the kids there, you pay for the program). But I'm not sure what Ramsey does.

You might want to consider just using a day care that has a full day K program. A lot of people do that when there is 1/2 day and they work.

Good luck.
