in this particular instance it is convincing children that they should have a positive opinion of barack obama. its not the place of school teachers to impress their political opinions on children. barack obama has no great plans and no great accomplishments. he despises america and so do you.

I believe that blacks have been the victims of injustice in the past. In the past. The pendulum has swung completely in the other direction to attempt to make up for those past injustices. We now have a whole generation of white kids who have been raised and indoctrinated by liberal schools that teach Black History Month instead of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Afterschool, they are indoctrinated by MTV, hip-hop, and mindless "reality" TV shows that depict the straight white man with a family as a fool. Couple that with the fact that parents are commuting further and further to work so that they can live in the suburbs, in an area devoid of crime, and these kids are ignored and easily influenced.
I believe that the plan of any government is to remove the influence of God and indoctrinate you with fear, vapid consumer culture, and nothing to turn to except the government as your leader. If you think I am a conspiracy theorist, look to our founding fathers because they knew this exactly and tried to put in place a system to prevent it. Hence, free speech, free press, right to bear arms, etc. All of that is slowly being taken away. The government never comes in and takes it all in one day. They chip away at your freedoms so that you don't notice it.
This video is just a product of that slow move toward indoctrination and government control.

Strange my kid spends far more time doing writing, reading, and arithmetic than the few hours Black History Week took up. Actually spends more time drinking eating lunch than he's spent on any of those liberal school indoctrination conspiracies.
And of course he doesn't watch MTV or reality TV shows, since his parent's aren't complete morons.

And that while you've cheered Bush's burning of the constitution because you don't like Muslims that they'll get to launch their destruction of the bits they don't like from the great base you've built for them. And yes use the "nuclear option" and get rid of the senate filibuster - that way when this economy finally crashes you'll get the Democrats in control they'll have the President, a majority in the House, a majority in the Senate with no filibusters allowed, and a country reliant on welfare and all those pesky consitutional limits removed by the Republicans.

2. You obviously haven't read the article or my previous post on this thread. If you stop running around and shaking your fist, calm down, and think for one second, you'll see how stupid this all is. No one is trying to indoctrinate your children. This is 1 class, in 1 grade, in 1 school in ALL THE LAND. It was more a Black History activity than anything else, and the children are the ones who wrote the lyrics. That's why the lyrics are so childish and the words are chosen merely to rhyme.

I actually agree with you that, other than that, he really does have no great accomplishments, his plans so far are mush, and he has a looooong way to go. Black History Week? Just because you say it doesn't make it true. It's an entire month long devotion, that's what it is. And it's nearly an entire year if you are in a Newark school. A friend of mine was a sub in one of their schools and told me how they totally ignored the history books that taxpayers bought and instead focused 10xs more on Frederick Douglas than on George Washington. Naturally, when these kids grew up and were in high school they could barely read or write and few people could understand what they were even saying. What a sad way to go through life. But, who cares? Barack will make everything ok. YES WE CAN!!!!
