Default Can you believe Jets, Giants,Mets and Yankee's are all playing at the same time?

I'm screwed- told DH I would tape some games for him- but I really don't know how to work the dvr or tivo- just the good ol' VCR- ...........to bad so sad....

Well the Yanks had changed the game to a night game...I know as son has tix then all the Jewish fans threw a hissy because Yom Kippur starts at sun down and guess what the Yanks moved it back to an afternoon game

I don't get it. How is it a sacrifice if you lobby for the fun stuff to get moved so you can enjoy it? (And subsequently, not sacrifice it).

The Jewish fans were the reason the Jets game was moved from 4 to 1. The Jets and Giants had not played at the same time since 1984 or something.

On the Catholic side, I think that's why they got rid of the "no meat on Fridays" rule. Everyone just ate lobster instead.

Were both games televised at the same time? There was once an NFL rule in force that both Giants and Jets could not be televised at the same time, if one team was playing at home (in this case the Jets). That would have been truly unprecedented.
