NJ Unemployment
I have a question about Unemployment. I started unemployment back in the first week of May and the NJ benifits are coming to an end. However, they let everyone go in the middle of the week. The way I calculate it there will be 200 something dollars left in the claim after the 26 weeks is up. I am hoping to get a job by then(God willing). However, if there is 200 dollars left in that claim, would I still be eligible to collect Tier I benefits? I currently get $430 every week(total 860/every 2 weeks not including the extra $25) due to my company cutting salaries in half a couple months before they wound down the company. If I do qualify for Tier I, is the benefit rate 80% of that $430?
I really appreciate any responses. Thank you.

Not sure why a balance in there, mine always came out 0. Tier I is automatic and you should receive the same amount ($430) as your original claim.

to you. as of right now there are no extensions passed for 2010. Unless they change on legislation anyone exhausting benefits in 2010 has no available extensions
