Default Washington St. buses to Hoboken Path

I have failed to find suitable rental apts within a 8 minute walk to the Path. I am now looking at some apts 6th st and up. In inclement weather, I would not walk to walk down to the Path in the morning, and I know some people use car service and buses. Can someone tell me how much are car services if you use them daily, can it be cheaper than $6 per ride? How often do buses go down Washington Street toward the Path? Is there a local bus other than 126?

Can anyone who lives in Hoboken provide any information if you live midtown or uptown and don't want to walk every day down to the Path?

I used to live in Hoboken about 5 or 6 years ago and i always took the bus 126 into the port authority. Check out the schedule at njtransit.com, I know back then we also had the option to take the academy also into NYC but they stopped that service, unless it was started back up again. I always liked taking the bus. Good luck..

89 & 22 but they're not that frequent. Get used to the walk - faster, cheaper, and good exercise.
