Default good town in central jersey??

hey. i love the town in desperate housewives. not all the drama, just the houses and the way that the town is set up. what town is like this and is within 20 minutes of edison, nj?? thanks

It's not 20 minutes from Edison, more like 30, but Robbinsville is nice.

Isn't that Franklin Lakes of RHONJ fame--that was the place Danielle didn't want rumors about her spread about? Different strokes for different folks--I hate those McMansion houses that have replaced cool period-era Colonials and Victorians.

I have never seen that show, but if it's about what I think it is, I imagine a nice suburban setting. The area around Edison is very strip-mally, so I wouldn't recommend Edison. Check out Cranford, Westfield, Scotch Plains, and Metuchen.
