Default Commuting to NYC - Princeton, West Windsor, or Montgomery?

I just accepted a full-time position in midtown Manhattan, and am trying to figure out the best place for my family to live in central NJ. My husband works in Princeton, and he will be the primary caregiver for our child, so we'd like to stay in the Princeton area w/ me commuting up to the city.

I've been doing the commute from Hamilton to NY Penn Station on NJ Transit for the last three years for school, so I'm pretty used to it . . . But, having started a family, we're now primarily concerned w/ finding a nice place to raise a family w/ a good school district (and easy access for me to a Northeast Corridor train).

The contenders are Princeton, West Windsor (both for the Princeton Junction train station), and Montgomery Township (for New Brunswick train station). Am I forgetting anywhere else good?

Any recommendations???

Robbinsville is another town that is nice down there, you could commute from Hamilton.
