Looking for an Apartment in Totowa or Paterson NJ (Union: apartments, rental)

I am 35 year old, white male looking for a small place. Preferably along Union Ave in the area between Totowa and Paterson.

If you know a place opening up within the next few weeks/months or know a reliable rental agency - please point me in the right direction.

i LIVED on union ave for 7 yrs- (until 2002) - then my dad passed away & my mom fixed up the upstairs of thier big house in Fairfield so me, my G/F and my 22 yr old son could move in. She didnt want to be alone and I couldnt refuse the offer,'
Anyway- that Union ave area (hillcrest area)- is still ok , as long as you dont do to far down toward the end. I lived across the st, from Dunkin do-nuts- and to this day I still go into that area for my dentist, or a good pizza(much cheaper than Fairfield) and the laundrymat up the st in totowa.
The prices for apts have gone up in that area but its one of the few areas in Paterson that is still clean and have single family houses
If you have kids though- private school might be worth the bucks. Don Bosco is now closed -I lived next door- but there are others.
Also ,my brother lives off valley rd right on the clifton/paterson border- another spot that you might ck out.

We lived in the Overmount Apartments in West Paterson for a few years and had no complaints. They're off to the left as you go up the big hill on Route 46 right before you hit Route 3. Very convenient to Route 46, safe and quiet area.
