Default Cherry Hill or Glassboro

Hi, we are looking at Cherry Hill and Glassboro to relocate to. We are looking for a city with an awesome school district. Any opinions? Thanks!

I grew up in Washington Township (which is right near Glassboro), and went to college in Glassboro. I currently live in Cherry Hill.

Cherry Hill (IMO) is a much nicer area all-around and the schools are better. Also, better proximity to Philadelphia.

Of the two, I'd go with Cherry Hill. Cherry Hill Township is quite large and there are many neighborhoods from which to choose. The school system is solid. I don't know a lot about Glassboro, have been there a few times. I've heard a few bad reports about it lately; I don't know if there's any validity to these claims. Supposedly, crime is increasing and drugs have become a problem. In this economy, crime is increasing in many areas and drugs are everywhere. I would imagine that Cherry Hill has more money to throw at their schools, so more services, more extracurricular activities.

In case you haven't looked at them, Swedesboro, Mullica Hill, Haddonfield, Voorhees, Marlton, Mount Laurel and Moorestown are also very nice, have good school districts.

If your criteria is for a good school district, Cherry Hill wins.. Not even close.

NJ School student performance indicator shows that Cherry Hill has a 98%-99% gradudation rate while Glassboro is closer to 87%.

Cherry Hill is far nice and a LOT more expensive than Glassboro.

Yeah, these two towns aren't particularly comparable. They're very different places. FWIW, the last time I was in Galssboro the place just looked "sad" to me. Cherry Hill has always looked very nice every time I've been in that area. From what I understand, the schools are excellent there as well.

Also, give Collingswood a look.
