My fiance and I are soon to be married and we want to find the perfect town in NJ to live! We need a town that is a close drive to Philadelphia (husband works there). Also I am a nurse and will need to find work in a hospital or doctors office. We cannot emphasize enough how much we want the small town feel. Local restaurants, movie theaters, antiques, coffee house and a historical feel is what we desire. Also a safe town is needed, low crime rates please.

How about Philly itself? I'm assuming you don't have kids yet so schools aren't an issue. Center City is nice and if you really want to have stuff around, that is the place to be.

It's more expensive though. Plus there's the city wage tax as well.

+1. Picture perfect towns. Like nothing in Philly. Collingswood is a bit cheaper...

Doylestown in Bucks County is a beautiful town with tons of historical feel. Is very close to Philly, and has some nice shops. I know, is not in Jersey, but is an awesome town anyways.

Thanks for your replys, price range is around 350,000. Collingswood looks very close to what were looking for. We want to live in NJ because his parents have a house in Avalon so we want to be close to that area as well as close to his job in Philly.
