Default ,

Debating between a pickup or an SUV. If I get the pickup i would get an extended cab (seats 4, although not very comfortably).

I would be buying used. I have no kids or anything.

Hubbie has an extended cab Silverado....the front bucket seats are very comfy, the back isn't to bad. He also has the extended bed..only downside..hehehehe if we go on a trip & he insists on taking it he will be the only driver as I won't drive it..too freakin big

I want another 4 cyl 2002 Kia Sportage. Nope, not a 2008 or a 2009, or any other year. I want the 2002.

1. I like the height - I just get in - no climbing up or lowering down - just get in. I have bad knees, arthritis, and this works for me.
2. I don't bump my head getting in or out and don't have to contort to avoid bumping my head.
3. The newer models - first have 6 cyl (wasted gas)
4. They changed the door on the newer models so I bump my head getting in/out. They lowered the opening - head room is still the same once you're in the car, but there's now a low lip.

I WANT MY OLD KIA! again. I love my KIA but we need a 2nd vehicle when we move to the boonies and with my bad back/neck, I can't twist my body to get into the new ones. YES, I've driven a 2007 as a rental. I HATED it.

OMFG That was my first car!!! 1974 gold(almost orange) metallic paint, velour seats, real chrome bumpers, power steering so light you could steer with your pinky, a true land yacht!!! One day I tried the dukes of hazard, starsky and hutch run and jump across the hood slide. I damn near broke a hip LMAO. Why i thought it would work is beyond me!!!!

Anyway, back on topic, are we talking "money no object" type car? Or are we talking realistically? Ive been going over this in my head the last few months because my car is on its last legs and I'll need a used replacement soon. Id rather pay 8-10k cash for a good used car than finance/lease anything new. I could care less about fancy or bling. I need both utility, room for 4, and comfortable driving (I do between 25-30k year) So, Im stuck between the Dodge Magnum Wagon or an F-150 or Silverado dual cab. On the other hand, because I spend so much on gas, I'll probably end up with a small SUV like an Escape.
