Default Good mechanic for older Mercedes in Mercer Co. area?

Hello all,

I have an '84 Mercedes 300SD (diesel), and I am wondering if anyone can recommend good, honest repair shops in Mercer County area that have good knowledge of the older Mercedes cars.

I knew of one, but he charges nearly as much as Mercedes Benz of Princeton for service. The dealer cannot be beat for quality of repair, and I've used them a few times to maintain my car, but they are definitely expensive!

Many thanks.

If you can get the car 45 minutes down I-195, Specialty Automotive on Rt. 88 in Brick is a great shop when it comes to older German cars. Guenther runs the place and is great. We've never had Mercedes cars in my family, but they do A LOT of work on them.

We've been very happy taking our Audis and VWs over the years there.
