Trust me, I've worked in retail and I've seen people who are WELL past the age of 43 who would wear those little 'tenny-bopper' outfits and it just looked sad. SO, I agree with other people. Stores like T.J Maxx or Target or possibly even Old Navy(Even though their material is getting crudey" and shop there. Plus, they have a place that's more pleasant to shop in.
Hell, when I was a teeny-bopper, I didn't even dress like one. The one concession I ever made to fashion was wearing Tale-Lord jeans (in men's sizes -- remember that trend?) that dragged on the ground back in high school in the early 70s.
I'm 54 -- give me jeans and a Yankees tee any day, and a tank top and shorts in the summer.
