Lawrence Ave - Westfield - opinions please (homes, neighborhood)

To anyone who is from, or familiar with Westfield, just how busy is Lawrence Ave with respect to traffic?

On maps it appears to be a major thoroughfare, but I have visited it on various occasions at different times of day and it really doesn't seem much busier then other streets in the neighborhood.

any opinions/thoughts welcomed. thanks.

have lived in the area for over 30 years and think it's a beautiful street. Very wide with lovely homes. More traffic than some other streets but not a heavily traveled main drag. I would not hesitate to buy.
