you must have had difficulty writing that second part since you were laughing so much.

Um I never said absecon is AC. Are you even reading what you respond to? I don't think you even read what you write yourself! And here I thought elitists were at least intelligent...guess not.

this is what the original poster asked, "Me and my girlfriend are visiting Atlantic City this weekend..."
they said they were visiting AC and you said they should stay in absecon. i am not saying that it isnt a valid suggestion, i am saying that staying in absecon isnt going to give you the same experience as if you say in AC. for me, the difference would prevent me from considering doing it.
are your little feelings hurt and now you are insulting my intelligence? its just an internet forum kelly, dont take it so personally.

This is what the original poster titled the thread: "Atlantic city on a budget". On a BUDGET, CNJ. Later he said it was like $200 for the weekend. So I gave him a good suggestion to stay in Absecon. Yes, it's not the same experience as AC but he is on a budget and the experience is very close to staying actually in AC. See? I gave him a suggestion on how he can visit AC for the weekend and stay on his budget by staying just outside of AC in Absecon and saving a lot of money so his budget will go farther. It's a different experience to stay in AC and spend all your budget to do it than to stay in Absecon and have money left over to enjoy things like food, gambling, etc. in AC.
No, my feelings aren't hurt, LOL! Did you want to hurt my feelings? You're a big tough guy to want to hurt a girl's feelings on the internet. I think you're taking this a bit too personally because you're making such a big deal over absecon. Maybe I hurt your elitist feeling in the Walmart thread and now you're lashing out??? LOL what a big baby!

congratulations, you suggested he stay in absecon to stay within his budget. i said that its not the same type of trip as staying in AC. thats it. your notion that for some reason my post is in conflict with yours is your own insanity. thats it. you are creating some kind of conflict where one doesnt exist.
why are you writing "LOL" after you said your feelings arent hurt? i know you arent laughing. big deal over absecon? i just said its not the same trip. then you come back "well he said he wanted to do it on a budget." congratulations, you can read. too bad your understanding is lacking.

The conflict is that you say it's not the same type of trip as staying in AC, and I'm saying it is. I'm not saying it's exactly the same trip, but it's the same type of trip.
Anyway, I didn't ask your opinion, I asked you why you call it a gangster vacation to say it's second rate. Gangsters are mafia guys and they always do things first rate. So if you think it's second rate then calling it gangster doesn't make sense, so there's another conflict, but that's a conflict between two different things you're saying.
And I write LOL after everything because I was literally Laughing Out Loud at your bizarre and irrational posts. I get it - staying in Absecon is not the same as Atlantic City in your opinion, fine; in my opinion it's the same type of trip, the only difference is a short little drive from Absecon to AC but the savings makes it well worth the while. If you don't like it that's fine but I still don't get why you call it gangster to mean second rate when gangsters usually go first rate. Gangsters used to own casinos why would they go second rate or stay in Absecon? That's what doesn't make sense at all.

it significantly changes the trip. enough to the point where many people will not be happy doing it.
you asked why i considered it a gangsta vacation and when i answered you started having a fit. most people understood what i meant by it being "gangsta." you didnt. too bad.
im not sure how old you are but perhaps thats why you are having this big confusion over the "gangsta" comment. plus, you are taking it too literally anyway. nobody refers to mafia guys as gangsters anymore (anyway i said gangsta not gangster). you are the only one that thought i was referrign to mafia guys.

That's just your opinion that it significantly changes the trip. I disagree. All it means is that you drive a few miles instead of walking right out onto the boardwalk or into the casino. Once you're there it really makes no difference where your room is. A 10-minute drive is nothing if it means staying within budget.
I didn't have a fit about your saying gangster, I'm just saying that you used the wrong word. You really over-dramatize everything. Anyway, if you're not referring to mafia guys then I don't know what you're talking about. I'm 28, maybe that's too old and in your high school they have a different meaning for it.

exactly kelly, its my opinion. im giving my opinion. why you had to make such a fuss because i suggested someone may not appreciate staying in absecon while visiting AC is your own problem.
at your age, you should know what i meant by gangsta. the other person who responded to me using that word understood exactly what i meant.

Why do you consider disagreement to be "making a fuss"??? I disagreed with you, that's all.
I still don't know what you meant by gangsta other than "gangster", and I've already told you what I think about that, so if somehow I'm not understanding you, well then so be it.
Why don't you let it go dearheart? You're getting all riled up over nothing.
