Hi, I am a new graduate from college, and will start working in South Orange this fall. Someone told me that I may look for an apartment in Springfield or West Orange. Do you guys have any suggestions about what apartment complexes I may consider? Could you name several nice apartment complexes that have safe neighborhood and good public transportation? Close to libraries or parks would be a plus, since I have a small kid. Thank you!

Sorry I don't know the answers, but anywhere in Springfield (along Morris Ave) or Milburn would be nice and safe - I don't know the name of the apts, but we had a friend live there along Morris Ave for five years with their 3 kids and they loved it and their neighbors - said they made friends of a lifetime while there. I will try to contact them, but don't count on it bec they've moved again bec of jobs. Good luck.
