My uncle is a corrections officer working his 40hrs +20-30hrs OT every week and making close to 200K year. He HAS been there over 20 years and was even President of his local FOP at one point. Even he says he makes too much money for what he does, but as long as they still are happy to give it to him he will still be happy to take it.
