I had a vindictive boyfriend who got me fired from a job in NJ and stopped me from getting jobs in NJ. how did he do that? How can I find out what damage has been done to my name? Did he pay someone?

I dont see how anyone can keep someone from getting a job unless they are spreading lies within an industry and at that point you can sue them for liable or slander. If he is simply telling a truth that you wish he didnt, nothing you can sue over.
