It's another negative image of NJ, especially for families considering a vacation at the shore.

Default sure right

Great, just what we need: more cliches and stereotypes about airhead muscleheads and sassy Joisey Girls.

I won't be watching. MTV seems to get worse everyday. This isn't cool. If anybody behaves like that, I feel sorry for them. I haven't really seen anybody here in Jersey act like that. Chances are if anybody is acting like that and I've seen it a few times, they're putting on a show because they're scared.

Uhhh.. how does the state of New Jersey allow MTV to put it down like that?

But it is what is happening there. If you look at the Guido Beach in YouTube.com, most of them come from Northern NJ.

Most ironic about the whole situation is that seaside and the whole jersey shore thing has lost a lot of its party atmosphere. Back in the day of Tempts and Surf Club Sundays being in full swing I can only imagine the show they would have put on. Seaside Heights is most dead now. No Tempts at all, XS is gone. The Blvd is not what it once was for better or worse.

This was gonna happend eventually for all its fighting, funny accents, fashion, drama themes MTV viewers can identify with and laugh at these creatures and copy them. But I don't think most of these guidos even live in NJ?

I believe the majority of the "stars" of this show are from NY State. I guess they wouldn't feel comfortable going to The Hamptons so they came here.
