Default Commute to Upper Saddle River

Where would you live if you want easy commute (train or bus) to Upper Saddle River, NJ but want to live in an urban area? We will probably relocate this summer for my partner's job (in Upper Saddle River), and we've been told that Hoboken would be the best. But is this the only option? Any other ideas? How about West New York, Secaucus, Rutherford, Weehawken? or anything else....
