I put ours up when I get tired of listening to her "suggest" that we put it up soon.

Then I like to take it down on New Years before heading back to work on the 2nd (or whatever is the next business day).

The Christmas tree must go up during Thanksgiving weekend. It cannot be taken down before January 6th, the Epiphany.

I'll put it up next week and take it down the first week of the new year. I guess when you have one in a box in the attic you could put it up anytime.

When I used to get a real tree, I would wait till the week before Dec. 25th, because after that I need to keep it up until Jan. 6, which is also Christmas for us.

Well folks.........and Thanks Honeycrisp..........Tomorrow is the day! Tree shopping........I am so excited.
I sometimes get more excited then when I was a kid. I'm not sure if I will come home with a concolor or a Fraser fir. Both I love!! But, I am taking the camera with me.........so you all can see more of the tree farm.
I'll get a close up of the concolor too!
I'm telling you .......I do not sleep over it.
I have two daughters who are just about like me on this. The other succumbed to a "fake"........but, we didn't disown her. It was easier for her to deal with and she has no good tree farms by her.
I know I can just step out of the car and point to a tree. But.............I will go and trot all over the place just to make myself feel like I have found the utmost best......( I am really just kiddin' my own self)
Every tree in this farm is just about perfect. I kid you not..........
So wish me luck............and I'll try to talk myself into the concolor.........The fraser is such a beauty with lights on it though..........Oh My.
Well, I'll report back tomorrow eve........Wish me luck.
