Is everyone ready for the S-N-O-W?
Yep. Our 14 y/o has been asked (okay, told) to be available, shovels and blower are ready, ungaraged vehicles positioned strategically, front hubs are locked on the old PU truck, plenty of food, beer, wine and firewood.

Bring it on Mother Nature, doc1 is ready to party.

I always wondered about the mad scramble before the snowstorm. It's as if everyone throws out their snowshovel every spring and needs to buy a new one every winter, and they all live in French toast when it snows (what else would you need milk, bread and eggs for, right?).

Are they going to have any of that $h&t next weekend? That's when we are scheduled to arrive back in the Garden State! It will make me hope my trip back is cancelled. (You can tell that I'd rather be doing this during the summer!)

This morning I brought a few extra loads of firewood into the basement so I don't have to go digging under snow covered tarps for it and on the way home I'll stop for a 12 pack of River Horse Belgian Frostbite to supplement the Saranac "12 Beers of Winter" which was my early Christmas present There's plenty of venison and pork roll in the freezer and the Devils are playing Friday and Saturday. Life is good...

Sadly I will be buying milk, eggs, and bread when I usually don't.

Since rather than doing the grocery shopping on Saturday morning, I'm going to do it this evening since I hate carrying groceries in the snow... Of course I also hate crowds so I may turn around and head home if everyone else has the same idea.
