Parsippany's a nice town.

Interesting that you want to move to Morris County. I much prefer it over Bergen, Hudson, and Essex, but most people leaving NYC and Long Island seem to favor these counties.

Depends on what you're looking for. I believe Parsipanny has more convenient mass transit to and from the city and urban NJ if you work there so that'd be a plus. But from what I've read the housing market is estimated to hit Parsipanny harder than surrounding areas.

Please explain to us what exactly you're looking for in a new place to relocate...

Good to know, (I wasn't being sarcastic BTW)

Where do you think the housing market will be easy then in Northern NJ?

The OP is moving from Long Island. He/She knows all about high property taxes. NJ has the highest property taxes as a state average, but there are parts of other states where the property taxes are equal or even higher than NJ. I have friends in Scarsdale who think my Essex County taxes are low for the property I own.
