Most of the people I see getting off the train at JSQ who are wearing suits take the elevator to the parking deck, get in their cars, and drive off the the suburban towns they live in. I wear a suit a few days a week, and encounter few people dressed similarly on my walk to/from JSQ PATH. People in the JSQ area can dress up well, though--but they save it for Sundays!

Need your honest opinion -

1) How is the crime rate there overall? (i.e. would you be very worried if your gf had to walk home from PATH station by herself around 8-9pm)

2) Is it getting any better in terms of crime?

3) If you'd compare it to any neighborhood in NYC, what it would be?

Thanks!
I wouldnt recommend anyone moving in that area..at all!!

I am from midtown and I now live in the journal square area on Montgomery and Bergen, I haven't had any issues as of yet, but I'm a city girl so I'm used to watching out for things. Hope this helps.
