Default Any Recommnedations?

Hello,

I am starting my apartment search and am actually stuck. I'm hoping those who contribute to this forum can give me some advice and share their knowledge/learnings.

I currently work in Fort Washington PA and for the past year i have been commuting from North Jersey. I'm basically spending 20 hours a week commuting to and from work (without traffic). I'm getting drained (obviously) and love my job so I know it's time to start looking at apartments. While I have lived in North Jersey for 15 years, I'm not too familiar with South Jersey. Any town recommendations for a 25 year old female living by herself?

As far as price ranges, I would like to ideally stay under $900.00 and obviously a shorter commute time to work. I would like to stay in NJ which is why I am looking in South Jersey. Anything close to the Jersey shore points? Anything in the area that is fun and active? I know this is very broad so any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

If i was single i'd tell you to move to Rahway

The Jersey shore area would only be cutting about 1/2 hr off your trip each way
How about Princeton area
That would cut your commute in half

Good luck on whatever you decide

Thanks so much! I think Rahway is still quite a bit of the commute. I'm looking at Haddonfield, Voorhees, Cherry Hill, and Bellmawr- any knowledge of these towns?

Hi there

I said if i were single i'd ask you to move to Rahway (being a bad boy again)

I know some of the areas you mention and they are nice
but the problem will still be commuting 15 hrs a week
And also what will you do in the winter in those areas?

I would still look in the princeton area
that would cut your commute in half
