It's amazing, no matter how many times I document the fact that NJ does not have the highest per capita incomes people continue to repeat it. Ct. has the highest per capita income. If you wish to dispute it post some evidence!
okay. Jersey has the #2 spot. By $150 a year. Yea close nuff for me. Besides, up to 2007, nj was the highest....

But I know about that area, cause I spent 48 years there. Trust me.. NJ is nicer.

Maybe the taxes are higher in NJ because the government is even more corrupt and inefficient than in PA, and maybe there's too many school districts in NJ?

OK anytime you want to post data prior to 2007 I would like to see it. It ani't so. By the way it is the tax rate so that is independent of how much you make . So income and rate are not proportionate, therfore your rationale doesn't make sense.

Yikes, here we go again. Any criticism of good ole NJ is met with love it or leave it. Ummmm how about neither. I intend to change it. And I started to change it on November 3rd!
Less industry therefore fewer jobs therefore fewer $100,000+ jobs. Where do you think NJ residents move when they retire? And this analysis is coming from someone who wouldn't move for anything. I like it here.
No, in fact, I think this is just a case of somebody letting the pride of where they come from get to their head. Jersey isn't all that. Accept it for what it is.
