I will be receiving my last check of my 26 week unemployment claim on Monday. I am assuming I will be entering Tier 1 now that the date has been moved to the end of February. Are my checks going to be for the same amount as it was for the first 26 weeks? Or does that change when starting one of the Tiers? Hopefully I worded this correctly...Im just afraid of getting anything less than I am already gratefully receiving, but i have a mortgage to pay and kids in college!!!!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your WBA will be the same as your regular state benefit payment.
All federal extensions will be the same amount you got in original claim.

I just called the NJ unemployment office and asked what would be the consequence if I started earning 1099 income from a multi level marketing business. The employee said that I would be considered as self employed and my benefits would end. She was adamant. My income in the beginning could be 10-20 dollars a month but they assume I am working all the time. In the meantime I am trying to get a regular job. What is the truth?
