I'm starting a new job where I will need to get from Journal Square in Jersey City to Bridge Plaza, Fort Lee, between 5:00 and 7:00 every Friday.
Does anyone know the best way to do this?
I've tried taking the "jitney" buses, but the trouble is they are not reliable - It seems only about 1 in ten actually go all the way to Fort Lee, and I'm not even sure I could find the place where I caught them again.
It doesn't look like there is any "official" nj transit way to make the trip without several transfers, which I would like to avoid.
Does anyone know what a likely cab fare would be for this trip?
Not sure why that didn't come up when I searched before! it certainly looks faster than the jitneys - when I tried that the total trip was about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
I'd still be interested in how much you think a cab might cost, though - I'm not sure I can always make the 5:18 bus, which is the last one I could rely on to get there by 7:00 . . .
