Finally made it! Jersey City! (houses, eat, best time)

Okay y'all..... I finally made it!

Got my flop in JC.... just a room for now, but I'm here.....

Still shuttling back and forth between NC and here..... and taking the PATH into Manhattan for work during the day. Tell ya what tho.... JC is great! Beatiful victorian houses....... neat vibe.....

Tonight I decided to go out to dinner..... Ive been eating so many cold cuts, it's amazing that I can still..... well, anyway, I wont get clinical....

So I ventured out to JC's VIP Diner.

Can't say how long it has been since I was to a _real_ diner.

I figgured I'd maybe get a burger or grilled cheese with bacon..... something like that...... Got seated, opened the menu, and then I saw it.... didn't have to read any further..... knew that there was only one real option for tonight's dinner.

Taylor Ham with cheese. Yes, the menu said Taylor _Ham_ ! (Not that should surprise anyone, but it gave me such a warm feeling..... I knew that I was in the right place. Ordered it on a roll, natch).

Kudos to the VIP as well, musta been a third of a pound of Taylor Ham on the nice crispy roll. Just the thing to give my heart a good workout.

Anyway, its good to be home.
