We're getting pummeled here. My only concern is power. They said more than 100,000 people have lost power, and the news said AC electric stopped working on the lines in Wildwood, which was very hard hit outage-wise, due to dangerous conditions. They said it could be days to a week before power is restored! My emergency preparations included packing a small suitcase, downloading air hockey, skeeball and season 3 of the Office to my iPod touch, and filling all available containers with either water or coffee. Now I'm looking at the lines and wondering how much ice they can hold....
That's nice! My Mom's in NE Philly, and I worry about her, too. I think she's going to be trapped there for awhile. At least she got a parking spot last night! They just had a story on the news where there have been several hand-chopping accidents today with snow blowers, because the heavy snow is clogging them and people are sticking their hands in to unclog them!
