If you look how Newark was 10-15 years ago it is definately a much improved city. Sorry but I can't judge a city by an incident of someone getting beat up. The overall picture in my eyes say Newark is a much improved city. I lived it and I see it.

Secondly this thread is about Newark!!! I don't have to mention any other deadbeat parents in any other areas.

And who said education has nothing to do with hiring practices??? What I said was that will be the first thing people shout when they do not hire individuals who live in Newark "Oh those people don't have the proper education" "They don't have any social skills" "They arrive late and leave early". Some of you come on here judging people you don't even know!!! Honestly do the majority of people on here have Bachelor degrees??? Wait I bet there will be several posts from people who have their Phd's now that I mentioned that.

And as far as the comment "as soon as the event is over they hightail it out of Newark" ummm when you go to an event do you lounge around in the area???? I don't care if it's Hoboken or Manhattan many people do not sit around and site see after an event is over. They get in and get out.
Neekah..Don't try and respond to this troll. He/She is an idiot who lives to hate on Newark.

In 2 days we have 2 dead and 2 wounded.

You'd rather just resort to childish namecalling with your "clueless idiot" comment, the same way his response to anyone who points out the reality of Newark (outside of the semi-decent few blocks he chooses to isolate himself in) is to call them a "hater". I don't recall showing "hate" toward anyone or anyplace, but that's a common response among those who can't properly debate a point or face reality.

As for me, I'll just continue to be a clueless idiot hater while I sit weakly in my safe neighborhood (sounds pretty sad when you put all of your moronic statements together in one sentence, doesn't it???), and you and Tank can cruise around Newark in your beamer, grabbing some chinese at the restaurant that his doorman recommends. Have a good time.....
You made a point? The only point you keep supporting is that you're an idiot. Since you're so good at looking up stats, go find me a city with no thefts. I'd like to have those stats by morning stat boy.

Oh yeah...me and my doorman also recommend Scully's. Nice relxed atmosphere. Good before or after a nice event at PRU.

I've never mentioned race in anyway. When you try and comment on something you've "driven through", "live near", "went to school in" "heard about" etc. it is HATING.

So I chose to refute garbage spewed about the city in which I live. I guess that's just terrible. You've got people on this thread claiming that the transit system is to dangerous to use at anytime..Cmon..that's retarded! But I guess it's all Newark's fault.

The only thing twisted is being so arrogant that you believe you can comment on things you haven't lived.

Me and a friend of mine (who attends school up there) were walking from his apartment to the station I believe on Broad Street. It was like 1:30 in the morning and there were a few kids (couldn't have been older than 12 or 13) out on the streets by themselves. Basically they started by chucking a few rocks and pebbles our way, then hurled a brown-bagged bottle down the subway steps at us. Why? I guess cause we had the audacity to be white?

Months later that same friend, who is an architecture student who gushes openly about all the things he wants to build and help design in Newark to bring the city back, got jumped by six black males who attacked him from behind with a brick to the head, then proceeded to kick and punch at him until he was able to get himself to his feet and fight them off long enough to run away. They broke his cellphone and stole $15. Broke his orbital bone and slipped a disc in his back. All in broad daylight while he was walking home from class.

Yeah, Newark is awesome. Teach whitey a lesson. How dare he come to your city and get himself an education. He ought to know better. He just don't get it, son. He deserved it; after all, it used to be the other way around, right?

Get real.
What..save the sob ass stories. It really sucks to get jumped but Newark isn't the only city that happens in. Every been to......New York! That happens everyday and nobody puts down the entire city. Perspective please.

Look, troll- I never said I hated Newark.

Your posts are also very distorted- just in a different way than the typical "hater" posts.

Like I said before- people here may be ignorant about Newark and other places like it but for the most part they are not moronic idiots. They know a trash post when they see it and will either ignore it or respond in kind.

You don't even have the ability to see the inaccuracies in your postings. Should I bother correcting you?
Of course not-it is a complete joke and waste of time.
