So after about 18 inches of snow here in Lawrenceville, the management for the apartment complex where I live decided they won't be paying to plow the complex. The plow did come through once Wednesday morning, before the main snow hit, and did just one shoddy pass, but no plows have returned since!
At this point, the complex has a "snow dirt road" of compacted, icy stuff, the parking lot has a lot of slopes, and people are getting stuck left and right trying to get out of their spaces and trying to get out of the drive way.
My question is this - are apartment complexes required to plow by any township ordinances, or are they basically free to let the snow be as it may and leave it to the tenants to fend for themselves? This complex was always good about snow removal, but with the new penny-pinching management, it's gone downhill.
