Exclamation Inexpensive Rentals near Rutgers
Our daughter and boyfriend are moving to Camden, NJ/PA area in July. He is attending Rutgers Law School. Any advice where to find inexpensive rentals that would be close by and safe place to live? They will also be looking for employment in the area. Thanks for any suggestions!

try looking in pennsauken, it is the town just north of camden, do not even consider living in camden, employment? philadelphia is across the river, what skills do you bring to the table?

Camden area to Rutgers every day? That's a commute I would NOT recommend.

the boyfriend is attending Rutgers campus for grad school---our daughter is out of school---so she will be looking for employment in the area---so going to Philly area would be better?

You should try searching through the apartment rentals on NJville.com and or craigslist

We are member of Adventure Aqurium at Camdem and NJ Battleship and visit the area often, I saw there is a Level 3 Community huge building and parking lots there Level 3 Communications I guess your daughter may be qualified for some job there.

If so, then it is very close to Rutgers Univ there. We also went to baseball game there and many other activities, many tourists in that area, that is to say, lots of security guards and police to make sure the area safe.

It has been many years and never had any safety issue and knowing all kinds of jobs in that area. Of course, across river to Phily is also convenient, but I guess your daughter may be able to find something on NJ side.
