Info sought about "Teaneck life & times"
We (me, my husband and 5 yr old son) are contemplating a move to Teaneck. It was great to read positive comments on other threads. We are a middle income/one paycheck family -- we live simply/on budget and like to seek out community resources and participate in them.
Could anyone else share any other thoughts ? Recreation activity for my little guy? School info -- I heard the Kindergarten is in one school and then you go to zoned schools for 1st grade...?? Is there a "best" grammar school?
Are the moms friendly, helpful, positive -- do parents help out in the schools??
How is the commute by bus?
Really any thoughts/insights would be so appreciated?
(we currently live in Brooklyn where my husband has a great commute and the neighborhood is great)
