Can some one please tell me roughly how many NJ Transit bus stops are there in Cranford, NJ to go to Port Authority Bus stop NY?
Also please let me know where the first stop in cranford and the last stop in cranford? How many different NJ Transit buses runs through cranford which will take me to Port Authority NY? I have heard about the 113x. Are there other NJ Transit buses also runs through cranford which will take me to port authority NY?

the 113 is the only bus to NY. Look at the 113 sched at NJtransit web site and you can look up the schedule.
There is a bus stop outside of the train station, on North side. My questions is: can monthly train pass from Cranford to Newark be used for the 113 bus to Midtown? The bus is more expensive, but can I pay the difference in cash on the bus? How does it work? I want flexibility of taking a bus if the train is cancelled or late and I need to get to work. Thnx.
First the NJ transit site is NOT going to tell you the stops. Anyone that thinks that does not use the site.
I do not know if this works or not, but from what I read, you can almost buy a $216 bus pass, and use it on the train to cranford that would have cost you $233 for the monthly train.
Looks like Cranford is $233 for the train a month (good for a 7 zone bus), and $216 for the bus (which is a 6 zone). Also, you can see this paragraph if you look hard on the site:

Yes, but my monthly train pass will be only zone 2, $116 a month, its not enough for the bus that goes to Midtown. I guess I can buy few rides for the bus and have those handy when I want to take a bus instead of train, if those rides don't expire
The big question is "do the bus drivers/train conductors know this". I have never tried it
