Believe me if you can count the GIANTS and JETS as New York teams, which is a joke, you can count a team which plays 300 yards away from Newark as a Newark team.

I know what you are saying, it is really close, but you can't claim the red bulls as a Newark team. First they are called the New York red bulls and second they play in Harrison, NJ, nothing there says Newark. The GM was probably trying to get brownie points from all of the soccer fans in Newark. And besides what does teams or population have to do with which city is better anyway? Detroit has a higher population than both combined and has major sports franchises, does that make Detroit better than both of them.

I grew up in newark, moved to bergen county when I was 15. I'm 25 now and I'm moving back into newark, in society hill. Where else you going to get 3 beds 3 baths, a living room, a family room, a garage and a driveway that fits two cars, pool and tennis courts in the complex in the low 200's. My co-workers all live in bergen county and are paying upwards of 300k for half the space. O...and I got the townhouse at a 40% discount for what it sold for 3 yrs ago!...Newark has to much going on...

150 Hopkins Ave in Jersey City, NJ Heights/ Journal Sq. area walk to PATH - nice place to check out. Don't have any # of the agent but you can search for it online. There was an open house there last week. Nice place if you want to be close to NYC (Path). It was 2 bedroom with office and storage in the basement for around $165,000
