Obviously, you will need to touch base with the individual schools to see if they offer programs for children with dyslexia and if so, whether the rest of the school population is a mix you want to see your child included in.
Do not consider the Lewis School. My son, who was quiet and inoffensive, was bullied and emotionally abused. Mrs. Lewis the owner, has no formal training in special education (the staff told me she is a former actress), runs a heavy marketing campaign to wealthy parents for an expensive non-accredited school and turns a blind eye to parental reports of bullying in order to avoid offending her wealthy cash up front clientele. The school day is 5 hours and all after school "enrichment" activities such as speech therapy are cash up front which provides funding for her speech paths who are severely underpaid. She also restricts access to early AM drop-off program not for single or working parents but according to social status. Her therapy dog program is similarly restricted. The school is a lot of hype for a mercenary for profit business.
If you are contemplating hiring an attorney for school district funding, consider instead using those funds for home schooling for part or all of the day to hire exceptional teachers. Your child can get social skills from community groups (church, synagogue, scouts, 4A, athletics groups) and will probably be treated better and develop a healthier self esteem.
